Environmental Awareness

sfwash minimizes our operation's use of natural resources and overall impact on the environment:

We offset the carbon emissions of all of our delivery vehicles with TerraPass. We carefully plan our delivery routes to minimize driving times and distances in order to use less gas.

We dry clean clothes with a biodegradable hydrocarbon solvent rather than with the most widely used solvent, perchloroethylene ("perc"), which is toxic.

We use Speed Queen Horizon washers to wash our customers' clothes. These machines use approximately one third the water of conventional household washing machines.

7th Generation Free & Clear is our "default" detergent; we use 7th Generation unless customers request otherwise.

We use state-of-the-art Paloma tankless water heaters, reducing our use of natural gas to heat water.
