i really am so happy to have found these guys. they pick up my laundry - always on time - and drop it off the next day all clean and folded and sorted into neat little packages. they even gave me the bags used to transport it back and forth. just today i gave them my key to get on their weekly route...even less of a hassle for me and i get a discount for it! you can book right online, but if you do decide to call they are very friendly and accommodating. and the delivery woman is super sweet. they also use your choice of products, including environmentally friendly ones and they save your preferences. the price is great considering the time and energy saved!

Environmental Awareness

sfwash minimizes our operation's use of natural resources and overall impact on the environment:

We primarily use Speed Queen Horizon Washers, the most efficient washing machines we know of. These machines use approximately 16 gallons of water to wash 18 pounds of clothes. A typical household "top-loader" uses 30-40 gallons per 14 pound load. Horizons also use only a fraction of the soap of conventional machines.

We use 7th Generation and other natural detergents, softeners, and bleaches whenever possible.

Our dry cleaner uses a biodegradable hydrocarbon solvent to clean clothes, rather than the toxic solvent "perc."

We use state-of-the-art Paloma tankless water heaters, reducing our use of natural gas to heat water.

We carefully plan our delivery routes to minimize driving times and distances in order to use less gas.
